Message from Zuraimi Sabki, the founder of Dee Hati Centre For Grief, Bereavement And Trauma

Grief the price one pays for love.

A personal tragedy indeed can propel one to a deep abyss of despair, pain and a sense of loss. My own experience  of such a loss is akin to a shipwreck as I grope for an anchor, as I sough support from all around.

Myself and the 4 other founders of the grief centre (Nazwan Taufik, Dr Iwana Taib, Faizul Zuraimi and Sabrina Zuraimi) somehow in those dark days came up with the idea of establishing the first grief centre in Malaysia.

The support we got was indeed overwhelming and we are eternally grateful for the help and encouragement we got when trying to establish this centre.This grief centre is not a mental institution. We just hope to give support, a listening ear and a safe space for all who have to endure loss in their lives.

To that end, I wish to thank the board of trustees and the volunteers for the immense support they have given in establishing this centre.

Indeed, GRIEF IS THE PRICE WE PAY FOR LOVE
