Grief is a universal experience, but it doesn’t have to be faced alone. At Dee Hati Centre For Grief, Bereavement And Trauma, we help to make seeking support as accessible as possible. Donations allows us to continue to maintain our free services to the community and to subsidies activities and events that are beneficial to all.
Every Donation Makes A Difference
Unlike traditional not for profit organisations that utilises donations in kind to distribute to the needy, the services we provide are intangible in nature and requires large cost in order to engage with trained individuals in the field. Many individuals are unaware of the available mental health services and are unable to afford the cost that goes with it.
Your contribution allows us to offer:
- Grief support groups: Facilitated by experienced professionals, these groups provide a safe space to share experiences and connect with others who understand.
- Individual Support: Our one-on-one peer sessions to help individuals process their grief in a healthy way.
- Home Visit Support: Help to provide emotional and bereavement support to those in end-of-life and palliative care.
- Educational resources: Our website, workshops and webinars provide valuable information on coping with loss, dealing with different types of grief, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain Centre Upkeep: To keep the centre up and running for sessions, activities and events for the community.
How Do I Contribute?
Yayasan Dee Hati has attained approval to solicit donation from Syarikat Suruhanjaya Malaysia (SSM) on 7 March 2024. This step was crucial to allow us to formally accept donations.
