What Is Dee Hati All About?
Yayasan Dee Hati is a newly incorporated Not For Profit Organization based in Kuching Sarawak. The foundation’s main purpose is to run the Dee Hati Centre For Grief, Bereavement and Trauma. The intention of establishing the centre in Kuching, Sarawak started due to the untimely passing of Nur Diyana Binti Datu Ir. Haji Zuraimi. The late Diyana was altruistic and had a magnanimous heart for her fellow human beings. She was always passionate about assisting and giving back to society. Hence, by establishing the Centre, it was the family’s way of honouring the late Diyana’s unequivocal zest in helping others and in so doing, channel their grief towards building a legacy based on her precious memory.
Our Services
Grief Peer Support
Peer support refers to a form of assistance and guidance provided by individuals who have shared experiences or similar backgrounds to those seeking support. Peer support can take various forms, such as one-on-one conversations, support groups, online communities, or mentoring relationships. Dee Hati Centre provides free peer support to anyone who is suffering from grief. Simply contact us through our website, social media pages or even give us a call to make an appointment.
Grief Stories
Share your stories or read the stories left behind by others. Grief stories are narratives that individuals share to express and communicate their experiences of loss, pain, and the journey of grieving. These stories provide a platform for individuals to reflect on their emotions, memories, and the impact of the loss on their lives. Grief stories can be deeply personal and vary widely, as everyone’s experience of grief is unique.
Grief Support Training
Grief Support Training is a soon to be provided service from Dee Hati Centre that aims to enhance the understanding of grief, its impact, and the diverse ways in which individuals experience and express their grief. Participants in grief support training learn about common grief reactions, the importance of active listening, communication techniques, and strategies to create a safe and supportive environment for the bereaved.
